    Install and remove electronics

    Below, you'll find a step-by-step guide on how to remove the electronics from your Miele cooktop. In this example, there are two separate electronic units.

      Product description

      Please print out the order confirmation and enclose it with the parcel (alternatively, you can also enclose a note with the order number) so that the electronics can be matched to your order in our incoming goods department. This prevents longer processing times.

      Is your Miele induction hob defective? We offer a repair of the power electronics for Miele induction hobs.

      IMPORTANT: please always tell us the EGO number on the sticker on the plastic tray (see product image 3) in advance.

      Explanation: You send us the defective electronics (please send us the entire plastic tray including the electronics) and receive the repaired and tested electronics back as quickly as possible.
      We aim to repair and return the electronics on the same day they are received.
      Please enclose a small note with a brief description of the fault and the machine type (e.g. KM6568) with the parcel.

      With Miele induction hobs, the following error patterns are usually indicative of defective electronics:
      • FE31 no function one side does not heat

      • further error patterns on request


      Procedure: Carefully pack your removed electronics or the entire plastic tray together with the electronics(s) first in foil and then in a cardboard box.
      It would be helpful if you included a brief description of the fault.

      Tip: If possible, send the electronics as a parcel and not as a small package. If you send it as a parcel, there is no tracking and tracing and insurance in the event of loss is not guaranteed. We will repair your electronics and send them back to you by return post.
